In the face of seemingly daily new challenges, Tyler is laser focused to pursue the democratic political means to empower my community and city to create a equal and equitable life based on my following values;
Equality
We all want to live and thrive in a society where we have safety, security, health, and peace of mind as a certainty. Tyler is endeavored to provide these assurances to you. This is done through fair and equitable income, universal healthcare, public education, affordable childcare, both affordable and accessible housing. Tyler is caring & tolerant of all people no matter their race, nationality, sex, gender, sexuality, physical or intellectual ability, age, language, or religion. It is Tyler's values which fight for a just and equitable society where all the community contributes according to their abilities and receive according to their needs.
Democracy
Democracy is the cornerstone of any quality society based on equality, equity, and human dignity. Our communities having the ability to have their say is essential for social, political, and economic institutions in both private sector and public sector spaces. This must be utilized to eliminate unemployment, poverty, and balancing wealth and power back to those who produce it. With an emphasis on transparent communication, grass roots involvement, and accountability for all actions. It is Tyler's guarantee to exercise good faith representation for all our communities best interests.
Community
Our community is of cultural, spiritual, artistic, tolerance, compassion, and diversity. As a community we must come together and work towards fighting not just for change but for progress. In solidarity and respect to one another we can create a space where all are welcomed, all contribute, all receive what they put in. It is Tyler's value that we can all find a common good and build up where opponents would rather tear down. In the spirit of what North Kildonan encompasses. Tyler believes in our community and each and every voice within.
Cooperation
Cooperation is the most powerful natural force any living species can wield. We see it every day be it children helping do chores. Young people helping the elderly in good will perform difficult tasks. Strangers helping the lost find home. We can all create greater achievements when we work together and cooperate to accomplish a goal over competing against one another in a race to the bottom. Tyler's value is to always listen to all voices and give each person an opportunity to have their say, and work in cooperation together, for a future we can all live life in dignity and pride.
Sustainability
Our planet is our home. We only have one planet and we must cherish what it has given us. When building for the future we cannot forget how future generations must handle the burdens we place onto them. In an age of change we need to change for the better. That is why Tyler's value is always change with the philosophy of empowering future generations through green, renewable, and scalable solutions.
