Hello,

 

My name is Tyler Andersen. I come from a working class family and am proud to be a first generation Canadian born and raised here in Manitoba. As the first in my family to graduate both high school and post-secondary school, with a college diploma in Information Technology (IT). My ambition is to lead by example to show that with hard work, determination, and the right set of values. A winning strategy is an endeavor not just for change, but for progress!

Having begun my adult years in a global recession. Earning my education through my own labor. Mastering my field of work within the STEM field of IT, and affording a home of my own. My fiscal responsibility and endurance during even the most difficult of times is a proven skill I exercise.

In my professional experiences I have been successful in advocating for those in need. Having volunteered in 2SLGBTQIA+ diversity groups to enhance hiring practices, successfully unionizing in the workplace, actively volunteered in federal government unions, while succeeding in all assigned duties. My focus is getting the job done right while uplifting my community along the way.

In my personal life I have become a married man with a loving spouse, purchased a home for my family to share. I spend time with friends playing cards, enjoying time with my family, and walking my dog in beautiful North Kildonan. I am a life long Manitoban who strives for the Canadian Dream.
