Who Is Registered For North Kildonan?
At the time of writing this, there are three city councilor candidates each representing a different subsection of politics. Where Are The Political Parties?
In Municipal or Civic elections each candidate runs as an individual. No political parties are directly supporting any candidate. That being said some candidates do have a stronger political party history than others. Some are aligned towards a more particular political ideology than others. • Tyler Andersen is the Progressive aligned candidate • Jeff Browaty is the Conservative aligned candidate • Orvie Dingwall is the Liberal aligned candidate
When Is The Election?
The big election day is October 28, 2026. However there will be mail-in ballot voting and advanced voting options with more information to come about these soon. Be sure to monitor your mailbox for updates.
What Is This Election For?
This election is to vote for the Winnipeg Mayor, School Trustees, and City Councilors for each city ward across Winnipeg. On your ballot you will have the option to vote for each position. Don't forget to mark your calendars for this exciting day!
Why Should I Vote?
Exercising your right to vote allows you to have your say for your community. You can make the effort and have yourself counted in for how our city operates. This election you will have the choice to vote for a city councilor who leans conservatively, liberally, or progressively. Will you vote for not just change. Will you vote for progress?
When Did Each Campaign Begin?
June 30th, 2026 was the official registration signup day. Tyler Andersen and shortly after Jeff Browaty registered and began their election campaigns this day. Each candidate who begins on election registration day is very serious about becoming elected. July 22nd, 2026 Orvie Dingwall registered for the election. July 28th, 2026 Orvie Dingwall will start their campaign.
What Is Each Campaigns Motto / Slogan?
Tyler Andersen: Not Just Change, Progress! Jeff Browaty: Your Neighbourhood, Your Priorities. Orvie Dingwall: Change For North Kildonan. As of July 28, 2026. These have not changed since each campaign started as early as June 30, 2026.
Why Is Tyler Using Red & White Colors?
I am proudly Canadian and as a born and raised Manitoban. I am using the Canadian Flag colors to represent my political campaign as my Canadian identity means the world to me. I believe in a Canadian Business First model where we prioritize Canadian Jobs, Canadian Products, Canadian Services first and foremost. We must protect our sovereignty from foreign threats by buying local.
